Is a French city in Guadeloupe. It is one of the city centers of an agglomeration of more than 51,000 inhabitants, the urban unit of Basse-Terre. These inhabitants are called Habissois (es). Vieux-Habitants is located in the west of the island of Basse-Terre on the coast-under-the-wind. Its northern limit with Bouillante is the ravine ravine and l'Anse à la Barque. Its eastern limit is constituted by the crests, on which it meets the territories of the communes of Petit-Bourg, Goyave and Capesterre-Belle-Eau.
